Am I Dulhern (Bride) yet? by Sahera Khan
A Muslim woman who is seeking for marriage and wants to propose to a Muslim man, however to her surprise a Muslim man proposes to her first! But does she accept or not?
Kill the Noise
From a partnership between Ignite Me Workshop Theatre and Ruils, Kill The Noise has been devised in workshops and comes from the actors themselves. Featuring poetry by Emily Roberts, this play tells a true story. It is about one woman, Parima Shahin Mogaddam, who has been housed in emergency housing. But the building presents a new problem: It is impossible to live in because of the level of noise. The play features a film by Media Sheybany and music from DJMan and V-Dun The Legend
Elinor’s poetry is palimpsestuous, rich, dreamy, and world-building. It translates across many different mediums that are employed to disseminate political, historical and timely truths. Elinor's poetry is autobiographical. It tells of invisible challenge and resilience from an unflinchingly female gaze.
NOT DYING is a solo show journeying through dying, living, and fighting the barriers placed around the lives of disabled people. With tragedy, hilarity, and driving honesty, poet-storyteller Jamie Hale looks through the emotional landscape of mortality to ask what it costs to truly live in this world – and is it worth it?
This evening is part of the JOY strand and is an inclusive environment. This evening will be BSL interpreted and Audio Described.
