Made during the first lockdown, marking off the days with my first tea /coffee of the morning. The tea bag, or loose tea from the bottom of the pot, the ground coffee from the percolator were the materials with which I produced a calendar of sorts on a rectangular sheet of paper.....day 1 of my calendar was Saturday 28/03.....day 64 was Sunday 31/05. Within these days I drew and I painted.
I have had an evolving art practice alongside a professional career in teaching. After completing art studies at Chelsea/Byam Shaw, and Kingston University my work was mainly installation/object/photography and exhibited as such. Recently however, after a time away from art making, I make drawings and paintings. I belong to the Riverside Artists Group (RAG), based in West London.
